Why Is There an Attack on Abortion?

The recent headlines are showing that the state of Texas has passed an anti-abortion law that would ban the procedure after 6 weeks (Normally around the time women find out they are pregnant). They also have wrapped up in the bill, that anyone can sue anyone who participated, performed, or help aid in getting an abortion done. Yes; that means someone can sue a Lyft or an Uber driver for giving a woman a ride to an appointment. Now as barbaric as this sounds, it’s actually people and politicians. The governor of Florida has done the same thing, if not made a worse bill.

Though, of course the Biden administration will have to divert time away from dealing with the pandemic to appease and entertain these types of politicians. The politicians don’t even deserve to be called a republican or democrat. Though, the Biden administration has already begun the process of suing the state of Texas because of violation of constitutional rights.

Let’s not beat around the bush though, they know these laws won’t stand, but this is just a charade to swing those republican votes a certain way because they are up for re-election soon. Though, what if it goes to supreme court and they rule in the governor's favor? This would cause a domino effect of other states with pro life politicians in office to do the same. This would really set women as a whole back.

Now, what a lot of men don’t know is with these bills the whole process of child support will change. DNA test would be done pre birth, so they could establish paternity early. Now of course this is dealing with people that are not married. After that, it’s claimed that men would actually be responsible for 50% of all prenatal care. This would start a form of check payment to the mother for paying for her prenatal services and such. Now doing this will also make a lot of women not eligible for medicaid, depending on how much the dad can actually contribute.

So, as people are cheering for this please take a moment and read the fine print. This isn’t exactly about caring for children, this is to stop people from being irresponsible in the governments eyes. Which is silly, people should have the freedom to choose what they want to do. Things happen, and mistakes are made though you don’t hurl a person into poverty just to prove a point. This is about getting people to rely less on government funding and getting the 20% of the child support or maternity support payments that are made after this. This would also place every unwed couple in child support court, even if they are together and not married.

Just seems a little old timish don’t you think?
